For IFAs, planners and wealth managers

Financial adviser website design that turns referrals into first meetings

When someone is recommended to you, they'll look at your website first. We make sure it gives them a reason to book a meeting. Your team, your approach and how you charge are clear from the start, and people searching for an adviser near them can find you.

Sound familiar?

Why adviser websites lose referrals

Most new clients look you up after a recommendation. Here's where that first look goes wrong.

01

An outdated first impression

A dated site, or a template with your logo on it, makes a warm referral less sure about getting in touch.

02

No sense of who you are

Prospects want to see your team, how you work and how you charge, and most adviser sites keep it vague.

03

Updates that never happen

Changing a page means chasing the original developer, so the site quietly falls behind.

What's included

What every financial adviser website needs

Everything a referral looks for before booking a first meeting. These pages separate a strong adviser site from the average one, and we help you decide which services and specialisms to promote.

01

Your team, properly introduced

Real bios, photos and qualifications, because people choose an adviser they feel they know.

02

Your approach and client journey

How you work and what happens at the first meeting, so nobody walks in unsure.

03

How you charge, explained

Clear, fair information about fees that builds trust before the first conversation.

04

Plain-English service pages

Retirement, pensions, investments, protection and mortgages explained simply, with case studies where you have them.

05

Easy to book

An introductory call or meeting booked in a few clicks, with enquiries sent securely to your inbox or CRM.

06

Regulatory details in place

FCA status, Financial Ombudsman details, risk warnings and 'not advice' notices where they belong.

Compliance built in

A website your compliance team or network will approve

We plan for sign-off from the start, whether you're directly authorised or an appointed representative. Your firm answers for every line, so nothing goes live without its approval.

01

Network friendly

We work within your network's approval process, make every change they ask for, and keep version history so you can show what was approved and when.

02

Clear and fair copy

Written with FCA financial promotion rules and Consumer Duty in mind, with sources marked so reviewers can approve quickly, and checked by our compliance consultant, who has worked with FCA-regulated firms for 6 years.

03

Easy to keep current

We train your team to update approved copy, so the site never falls behind again.

Qwil Messenger

B2B SaaS and fintech

A Webflow rebuild and SEO that took search traffic from 40 to 1,700+ visits a month

The challenge

Qwil gives regulated firms a compliant alternative to Microsoft Teams, Slack and Zoom. Its website wasn't converting well, its messaging hadn't kept pace with the product, and organic visibility was limited to branded searches.

What we did

We rebuilt the website in Webflow, ran a technical SEO audit and fixed backend errors, published content weekly around buyer search terms, built landing pages for each industry vertical, earned links from relevant publications and ran LinkedIn outreach alongside it.

1,700+

search visits a month for Qwil, up from 40 in 16 months

5

qualified demos a week from LinkedIn outreach

30 to 60

free trial sign-ups a month from search, up from none

“The results speak for themselves. The combination of a rebuilt website and a proper SEO strategy has completely changed how we show up in search.”

All Aspects Financial

Independent financial advice

Rebuilding a financial advice firm's website after its designer went out of business

The challenge

An independent financial advice firm serving individuals and business owners across the UK lost its website and all of its content when its previous designer went out of business, and needed a site that reflected the full breadth of its advice.

What we did

We rebuilt the website on WordPress with a dedicated page for every personal and business service, from pensions, retirement and estate planning to mortgages, employee benefits and exit planning. We added adviser profiles, an articles section and a clear route to book a free discovery call, trained the team to run the site themselves, and look after it with ongoing maintenance.

“When we lost our old website, AIM rebuilt it from nothing. It's professional, it's secure, and our team can update it ourselves. They made a stressful situation easy.”

London Legal Support Trust

Legal advice charity

From a website that kept crashing to one the whole team can run

The challenge

The charity's site ran on an ageing Umbraco CMS that nobody was maintaining. It kept crashing and going offline, which is serious for a charity that relies on its website for event promotion and sign-ups, and the staff and volunteers who updated it weren't web specialists.

What we did

We started by assessing what the staff and volunteers could manage without technical help, then moved the site to WordPress with a modernised, responsive design that kept the brand. We added mailing-list sign-up, Salesforce integration, donation and banking integration and stronger security, timed the switch between two major fundraising events, and trained the team to run the content while we maintain the system.

100%

uptime since the new site launched in 2020

“Our old website kept crashing, and that's the last thing a charity can afford. AIM took the time to understand how our team works, moved everything across without disrupting our events, and the site hasn't gone down since. Everyone on the team can update it themselves.”

Judo For All UK

Judo governing body

From no online presence to a widely referenced home for traditional judo in the UK

The challenge

Judo For All UK started in North London with no members, no profile and no online presence. It had to explain why it existed and build credibility fast, and as it grew its first website couldn't keep up: only a few people could update it and it had no online event booking.

What we did

We have worked with JFAUK from its earliest days, on planning, branding, print and content as well as the website. In 2012 we built its first site on Joomla and grew its traffic through SEO and marketing. In 2018 we moved it to WordPress so more of the team could edit it, added online event booking and ran a full round of SEO with the move. A redesign is now under way.

Seasons and Blossoms

Organic greengrocer

From a decade-old Squarespace site to a WordPress site ready for online orders

The challenge

We built the shop's first website, a static Squarespace site, in 2014, and it had gone untouched for over 10 years. It looked tired, and the owner wanted a website that could promote the business, be updated in-house and start taking orders online.

What we did

We backed up the static site, moved it and the domain off Squarespace, and built a custom responsive WordPress theme. We migrated the content and added on-site SEO, social links and an online shop ready to launch for a set range of products.

“We'd been stuck with an old website nobody could change for years. AIM moved everything over in three days, and now we finally have a site that looks like our shop and that we can update ourselves.”

Markos Pets

Pet supplies

An online shop and SEO that doubled online sales and lifted in-store sales 30% in Paphos

The challenge

Competing with large retailers across Cyprus while staying relevant in Paphos, for both competitive national searches and specialist services like pond building.

What we did

We built the online shop, ran a two-layer SEO strategy (pages for each major city across Cyprus, local pages for the Paphos store and its pond-building service), created content and built high-authority links.

Financial adviser website questions

Something else on your mind? Ask us directly.

01

Will the website meet FCA requirements?

We include your FCA status, Financial Ombudsman details and risk warnings where needed, and build in a review stage. Final approval sits with your compliance team or network.

02

Can our network approve the website?

Yes. We work within your network's approval process and make every change they ask for. Our compliance consultant checks the copy first, and we send it in small batches so your reviewers can move quickly. Nothing goes live until it's approved.

03

What should a financial adviser website include?

Your team and qualifications, how you work, what happens at the first meeting, how you charge, plain-English service pages and an easy way to book a call.

04

Should we show our fees?

We recommend explaining how you charge clearly. It builds trust and fits Consumer Duty. Your compliance team decides exactly what appears.

05

Will it help us get found locally?

Yes. "Financial advisor near me" is searched 9,900 times a month in the UK (Ubersuggest, October 2026). We set up local SEO and your Google Business Profile so you appear when people nearby search for a financial adviser.

06

How long does an adviser website take?

Six weeks for most adviser sites, plus the time your compliance team or network takes to review.

07

Can I update the website myself?

Yes. We build on Webflow or WordPress and train your team to make approved changes, with our support when you need it.

08

Who owns the website?

You do, along with your domain. We hand over everything and never hold your site, so it can't be lost.
