What's included

Everything your site needs to win enquiries

No surprise extras for the basics. Every site we build comes with these as standard, on either platform.

01

SEO research and structure

We look at what your customers search for and plan each page around it.

02

Custom design

Designed for your brand and built for phones first. Real photos make the difference: we can send a photographer for a couple of hours (add-on), and our designer handles logos.

03

Copy included

We write the words for your pages, or you write your own with our guidance. Full SEO copywriting is available as an add-on.

04

Technical setup

Speed, redirects, tracking and the SEO basics set up and checked before launch.

05

Forms and integrations

Enquiry forms and the tools you already use, connected and tested. Any third-party costs are in your quote.

06

Training and hosting

We show your team how to run the site. Your first year of maintenance is included, and hosting too when we host it.

We check everything at launch and show your team how to run the site. Your first year of maintenance is included.

A site your team can run

What sets us apart

A

SEO built in, not bolted on

85% of our web design clients go on to SEO with us, because the site launches ready to rank.

B

No per-page pricing

Twenty near-identical pages shouldn't cost twenty times as much, so we price the actual work.

C

A site you can run

8 in 10 sites we replace were launched and then left, with no training. We train your team so yours keeps growing.

D

Local, and we come to you

Our office is on Liverpool Road in Islington. Want to meet in person? We'll come to you, at your place of business.

Qwil Messenger

B2B SaaS and fintech

A Webflow rebuild and SEO that took search traffic from 40 to 1,700+ visits a month

The challenge

Qwil gives regulated firms a compliant alternative to Microsoft Teams, Slack and Zoom. Its website wasn't converting well, its messaging hadn't kept pace with the product, and organic visibility was limited to branded searches.

What we did

We rebuilt the website in Webflow, ran a technical SEO audit and fixed backend errors, published content weekly around buyer search terms, built landing pages for each industry vertical, earned links from relevant publications and ran LinkedIn outreach alongside it.

1,700+

search visits a month for Qwil, up from 40 in 16 months

5

qualified demos a week from LinkedIn outreach

30 to 60

free trial sign-ups a month from search, up from none

“The results speak for themselves. The combination of a rebuilt website and a proper SEO strategy has completely changed how we show up in search.”

Nima, Head of Sales, Qwil Messenger

London Legal Support Trust

Legal advice charity

From a website that kept crashing to one the whole team can run

The challenge

The charity's site ran on an ageing Umbraco CMS that nobody was maintaining. It kept crashing and going offline, which is serious for a charity that relies on its website for event promotion and sign-ups, and the staff and volunteers who updated it weren't web specialists.

What we did

We started by assessing what the staff and volunteers could manage without technical help, then moved the site to WordPress with a modernised, responsive design that kept the brand. We added mailing-list sign-up, Salesforce integration, donation and banking integration and stronger security, timed the switch between two major fundraising events, and trained the team to run the content while we maintain the system.

100%

uptime since the new site launched in 2020

“Our old website kept crashing, and that's the last thing a charity can afford. AIM took the time to understand how our team works, moved everything across without disrupting our events, and the site hasn't gone down since. Everyone on the team can update it themselves.”

Markos Pets

Pet supplies

An online shop and SEO that doubled online sales and lifted in-store sales 30% in Paphos

The challenge

Competing with large retailers across Cyprus while staying relevant in Paphos, for both competitive national searches and specialist services like pond building.

What we did

We built the online shop, ran a two-layer SEO strategy (pages for each major city across Cyprus, local pages for the Paphos store and its pond-building service), created content and built high-authority links.

All Aspects Financial

Independent financial advice

Rebuilding a financial advice firm's website after its designer went out of business

The challenge

An independent financial advice firm serving individuals and business owners across the UK lost its website and all of its content when its previous designer went out of business, and needed a site that reflected the full breadth of its advice.

What we did

We rebuilt the website on WordPress with a dedicated page for every personal and business service, from pensions, retirement and estate planning to mortgages, employee benefits and exit planning. We added adviser profiles, an articles section and a clear route to book a free discovery call, trained the team to run the site themselves, and look after it with ongoing maintenance.

16

service pages rebuilt for advice clients

“When we lost our old website, AIM rebuilt it from nothing. It's professional, it's secure, and our team can update it ourselves. They made a stressful situation easy.”

Mangia Bene

Family Italian restaurant

How online ordering kept a Chapel Market favourite going through lockdown

The challenge

New owners took over in 2014 with a restaurant on a busy market street but no website, no online presence and no reputation of their own. Then in 2020 lockdown closed the dining room overnight, and they needed a way to keep selling food.

What we did

We built the website from scratch on WordPress, including the research, photography, copy and menus, which we still update. We run SEO and marketing through Google Business Profile and set up a review system. When lockdown hit, we set up Gloria Food online ordering with separate apps for the kitchen, manager, drivers and customers, installed the hardware on site, and later added pre-orders and table reservations. We also produce all the restaurant's print.

4.8

average from 795 OpenTable diner reviews

1,800

monthly visits from search

“AIM have been with us since the day we took over. They built our website, took the photos and still update our menus. When lockdown closed the restaurant, they got online ordering running for us and we kept cooking. I can't imagine running Mangia Bene without them.”

Sampson's Cuts

Barbershop, established 1850

A new website and local SEO that doubled organic traffic in 9 months

The challenge

A barbershop with more than 170 years of history and a strong local reputation, but no website: its only presence online was a Facebook page, so few walk-ins came from search.

What we did

We designed a bespoke website that keeps the shop's heritage character, built a local SEO strategy around Holloway Road, Highbury and Islington searches, optimised content for location terms and streamlined the technical backend.

+100%

organic traffic

+75%

local search traffic

“Before AIM, if you searched for a barber on Holloway Road you wouldn't have found us. Now customers tell me they found us on Google, and the phone rings far more than it used to. They kept the feel of the shop, and they're easy to deal with.”

Web design agency questions

Something else on your mind? Ask us directly.

01

How long does a new website take?

A typical Webflow or WordPress site takes six weeks from first call to launch, and most online shops take six weeks too. Larger catalogues take longer.

02

Should I choose Webflow or WordPress?

Design-led sites go on Webflow, and sites with lots of content or advanced plugins go on WordPress, so you never outgrow your platform. We build on both and will recommend the right one in your free review.

03

Is SEO included in a new website?

Yes. Keyword research, a site structure built around it, the technical setup and standard copy for your pages come with every build. Full SEO copywriting and ongoing SEO are available as add-ons.

04

Do you look after the website after launch?

Yes. Your first year of maintenance and support is included, and if we host your site, hosting is free for that year too. Webflow sites run on Webflow's own fast hosting, on a plan in your name. We also train your team to make updates.

05

What affects the cost of a website?

WordPress sites start from £1,000 and Webflow sites from £2,500. You get a fixed price in writing before we begin, based on the features, integrations and content your site needs, not on a per-page rate. Our website cost guide explains what drives the price.

06

Can my team update the website?

Yes. Every build includes training, so your team can change text, images and pages without waiting on us.

07

Why choose a London agency?

We're based in Islington and come to you, so we can talk your site through face to face and show you real work.

08

Can't I just build it myself?

You can. Track the hours it takes and price them at your own rate, and compare. One owner started her own site in December, had not finished ten months later, and asked us to build it.
